Redsonic Dub System

Deep Dub and Crucial Lyrics Live

Redsonic Dub #334 bubbles under the message of peace and revolution in Marichiweu. The original track comes fromNayabhinghy Reggae Combo, a band from the nineties in Chile, South America. The music is different, but the message still resonates today. Slow and deep, this dub is the right companion to a call for justice in the face of the downpressor. Inspired by the work of Linton Kwesi Johnson, Marichiweu is a Mapuche (southern Chile tribe) call used in battles against the Spanish colonial powers. It means for each that falls ten will rise or for each time we fall, we will rise ten times. The lyrics refer to the military coup in Chile in 1973 and the brutal actions taken by the military government against its own people. Real conscious vibes and positive energy of resistance in on package.
